Around The World: Stop Two

Stop two.

The second stop on the trip was Auckland, New Zealand. My flight time from Tokyo was 10 hours and 45 minutes on Air New Zealand. We never seemed to be tired after the flights because the beds on these planes were so comfortable!

The hotel we stayed in was very nice, in the heart of downtown. There was a festival going on at the time we were there with many shows, dancing in the square and plenty of vendors. The people there were so nice and helpful.

We are big foodies and love the experience of a great meal. There was a place called the French Café that we had the best meal of our lives. This restaurant was very quaint with white linens and rustic decor.  We had an eight course menu tasting. The cost per person was $160.00 plus wine.
